Spectacular Optic
This scope is fantastic. The glass is extremely clear and low light performance is noticeably better than my 3-9x40 conquest.
The illumination system is also great; can be varied from extremely low intensity barely visible at night, to bright enough to see at noon in the desert.
The build quality overall is great.
The only downside to me is the weight of about 20.5ounces. If you're looking for a lightweight setup this might not be for you. Really for a 3-12x50mm scope with illumination 20.5ounces is relatively light, but it's definitely heavier than the common 3-9x40 many are used to.
Overall I found it to be stellar. If you can afford it, it's just awesome.

Top notch glass, top notch scope, no frills package, affordable price.
I bought this scope to mount on a 1903 Springfield sporter rifle. The scope is flawless; top quality glass, incredibly crisp bright image. I can read my target at 100yds with the scope, no need for spotting scope. I was apprehensive to spend this much money on a scope but after u received it and saw the clarity first hand I realized it was worth every penny. I will use Zeiss optics as long as I can afford them. Absolutely awesome product. Haven't seen the 50mm objective but the 40mm is very very bright and should be suitable unless you hunt in caves or somewhere the sun never rises.
