It took several hours, but I got it to work

However, over several hours I tried many times, with factory (button) resets, several computers, several adapter settings before I could get to the GUI. It simply would not open. Finally I was able to open the GUI on a Mac using Chrome. Once I upgraded the firmware (two steps), the router began acting normally. I was perhaps naively expecting the router to have been tested before it was sold to be sure one could access the GUI with no problems. I'm disappointed that it was not that easy. If you buy one of these, you might have a similar experience. Try what I described before you give up.
