A great product that hasn't received the support it deserves
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I ad been using the USB version of PowerMate for many years, but the latest OS update switched to 64 bit and turned it into a brink. That's unfortunate because it's made of solid aluminum. The BT version requires the unit to be hollow for battery storage, with no input for recharge. The BT version is lighter weight and the knob wobbles slightly. It has a considerably larger diameter than the USB model so my finger has to travel a greater circumference; not too happy about that.
Other users have posted complaints since it was released, but since I solely use it as an alternate way of scrolling up & down in a web browser or quickly sorting to thru thousands of folders of an external hard drive, it performs as I expected.
Initially there seemed to be a bit of lag, but that seems to have sorted itself out.
I don't use it to it for volume control or any of the available features; I keep it simple.
Lastly, and the biggest downside; Griffen seems to be circling the drain, so not only are these the last of the product, but there is no longer any support for the existing ones.
