Did the job
I used this to repair a Baitrunner reel that had a snapped spring guide and the bail arm wouldn't return. Easy to dismantle and fit and cheaper than buying a new reel!

An exact replacement for a flawed gun.
This is a like-for-like replacement for the gun that broke on my original desoldering station. You get the same length of tubing and power-lead (along with the fitted DIN connector) as before.
The black ring that the metal part of the soldering head is attached to, fits into a fairly weak couple of slots on the beige part of the gun housing. This is what eventually snapped on my old one and I fully expect this to do the same after a similar amount of use.
It's a shame as, although it's a cheap system on the whole, it's pretty good and works well as long as you keep up the cleaning and old solder removal.
Having this obvious design flaw is something that seems could have been easily avoided.

Works perfectly.
No issues whatsoever. Plugged it in to use with an old DIGITAL PS2 keyboard.
It's reasonably priced, as strong as you'd expect from moulded plastic things like this, and works! A no brainer.
