Wide aperture makes even the night visible, sharp image, great price.

I've always dreamed of being able to take photos that actually resemble the same image I'm looking at through my eyes, even when it's night out. Taking a picture of a lit-up restaurant sign in the dark, I had to set the aperture to 2.5 because 1.8 made it too bright. I am so happy I bought this lens. The images it produces are sharp and can be quite vibrant even on my Sony A57. I suppose the focus ring could be a bit bigger, but that is really only a minor complaint when I think of what this baby is capable of. It makes for some awesome video quality as well, which is the main reason why I wanted it. It will definitely be on my camera the most out of the lenses I have.

Multi-Use And Perfect For The Price
For any kind of studio set-up, keeping it simple with great gear that doesn't break the bank but sounds good is where you start. This is one of those items. It's not an ISA, but it's complimentary to one, as this is what you can use along side it as long as it has it's digital card, have two extra channels, and you can record literally anything at seriously great quality, what you would call clean, so you can throw even digital effects on it through your DAW and get exactly what you're looking for. Also it works without having to be plugged into USB, what I do is run it into a Zoom H4N Pro and I record multi-track on the go long as I can plug in the 18i8. It's all about what you can do with your equipment, and this is exactly what I needed.

Good looking shoes for a good price
I got these for an incredibly good deal, and they are barely used. They break in quickly, but admittedly are not the most comfortable to stand in all day. Some gel foot pads would alleviate this I'm sure.
