For anyone attempting a cheap replacement for oem k03s or ko4 this turbo is OK for stock boost/tune
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I am an ASE certified master technician which doesnt say much for my knowledge of turbos but I tune and build VW/audi's as a hobby. It appears every one of these turbos come with their own balancing data sheet from a vibration sorting rig to 144,000 rpm. The turbo specs that are listed are wrong - compressor size is 51mm on the exducer and 38.1mm on the inducer. Which makes this a hybrid between the ko3s compressor and the ko4-015 turbine. The turbine has no balancing marks so Im not entirely sure how well balanced this is. Also the thrust bearing have a single passage with limited surface area (not really a true 360thrust bearing. Also shaft bearing has no oil passages. But Im sure it would work fine for a little while.

I decided to take a gamble with this high flow
This air filter is for my b5.5 passat that I use as a cheap daily. I tune and turn wrenches for a living. Anyways this air filter at a glance looked ok in quality. Now everything seemed ok until the installation. Im sure this company makes a vast line of filters but for this particular model (passat/audi 1.8t) it is a bit too flimsy to stay in correct placement in the air box. It sags and falls off the ridges that hold the filter in place. Adding some type of mesh to stiffen it would be much better for I wouldnt buy this again at this price.
