Kraft nylon line
This roll of mason's line was even better quality than I wanted and was priced very reasonably.

zippo hand warmer
Small hand warmer made by zippo. Orange color designates it as part of my emergency first aid kit. The supplemental kit will be added for cold weather. The relatively short burn time ( a few hours ) is good for the temporary treatment of cold casualties and the relatively low heat given off by this warmer allows slowly warming a cold casualty without risking damage to tissue already compromised temperatures below freezing.
I would suggest a few of these warmers rather than one that would burn longer and produce much more heat per hour.
