Great mount with some experimentation.
“Universal” means you have to try different configurations to get it working right with your specific set up. In the end though, it worked great with my older Sony equipment. Only used the shorter brackets and a combination of spacers, washers and screws.

Programmed the remote easily and already had (2) working keys so was able to program the transponder myself as well after watching a YouTube video. Otherwise some Ace stores can do it if they sell smart keys. Everything is working fine on my 2013 Mazda 3 and for less than $15 a pop. A bargain for sure.
