First impression didn't last.
When this first arrived I wasn't really impressed, probably because it was completely different to all my other chargers.
But, once I had figured out how to use it with the adjustable sliding contacts I was hooked. It is in fact a brilliant bit of kit because it can also charge many of the other batteries I have. The visible LED charge indicator is far advanced from the single green light models and is positive rather than involving guesswork. Interesting that such a small item such as this should bring battery charging into a new era. Only one point of deflection the pins should be marked + and - on the sliding bar.

Versatile visual recording.
Excellent value for the low cost with many additional items included. Obviously it is suited for those using bicycles and scooters in the new clean air environment. But, the remote control extends its use into security applications and for inspecting those areas where only reduced access is available by using it with a mono pole. As a visual note taker it is more specific than a multi-function mobile phone and that gives it increased value.

Revelation in more than one way.
Initially it was purchased to mark a child's property before that nervous first day at a new school but other uses have now been found. The UV light is useful in revealing feint written information on old documents during family research. And, with the ceiling covered with UV reflective but invisible tiny spots of material, a new child like adventure is revealed. In a darkened bedroom the torch lights up those dots and it is as if you are travelling through space lit only by the stars.
