Not a plastic piece of junk but a real quality tool!
I can only say that if you're going to buy a tool then always buy the best and the Gigher 45mm Rotary Cutter is the one to add to your toolbox! I love the feel of this cutter, very comfortable and think it would reduce fatigue if having to use it all day cutting patters. The Rotary Cutter is made from a light weight metal alloy and has a retractible blade guard. I myself learned that you'll will waste more time running around to replace some cheap plastic cutter when it breaks, so stop wasting time and buy a quality tool because that's what the Gigher 45mm Rotary Cutter is QUALITY! I own one and I am not paid by anyone to review this item. It is my honest observation of a quality product and just wanted to share.

Top-notch in quality
The model is well manufactured with no flashing and all parts clean up nicely

Cons: price of kit is a little steep for what's in the box! Photo-etched railing not included nor are the metal gun barrels which at the price of the kit should have been included :( Also there are no details on how the rigging of the halyards are to be done.
I think all in all it is a good kit for a skilled modeler but if you're new to the hobby I would suggest the older not so expensive issue of this 1/350 kit TAM 78030
