A Real Thriller that truly deserves that title!

Butterfly on a Wheel is a movie also known as Shattered. It is about a couple whose life is invaded by a mysterious stranger determined to humiliate them by using the safety of their daughter. All three leads (Pierce Brosnan, Maria Bello, and Gerard Butler) were good but top awards goes to Butler for his acting. He perfectly plays the rage and fear of an Alpha male who is put into a terrible situation that reduces him to less than a Beta-male. The film is a real thriller and deserves to be better known.

Excellent Film Adaptation of The Cherry Orchard

This film adaptation of The Cherry Orchard is mesmerizing. All the performances are excellent. Look out for a young Gerard Butler in a supporting role. Charlotte Rampling and Alan Bates are terrific. The DVD I received was a new one - I guess leftover stock but it plays just fine.
