Good tool
The g42 pistol is tiny. The extension gives me the ability to wrap my fingers around the grip, allowing for more comfortable shooting and better accuracy. The +1 is a secondary but added bonus.

Good for some trumpets, not all
Will only use this for removable leadpipes on my flugel and piccolo trumpet. This swab is really tight on my Bb and C trumpets. When I finally yank it through, it could potentially spring and cause damage to the bell.
