Adventures in rust!
A great guide if you’re looking at buying a Citroën DS or ID.
I do think the title should be called ‘adventures in rust’. Designed and built with little or no rust protection, to find a solid car in the UK for reasonable money would be a challenge. Following the advice and carrying out all the checks mentioned in the book will save you a lot of heart ache and money.

Super smooth shifting.
After I had fitted the Optishift gear shift cables the gears changed as if the bike was brand new. Super smooth slick changing, even across multiple gears at one press of shifters.
Fitted to an old Trek 7.3 FX, I knew what I was getting as I’d already got Optishift cables on my new road bike.
As usual always great guality from Shimano a brand I’ve used since the eighties, when my new road bike back then was fitted with SIS down tube shifters.
