Great Flyer, Super easy to fly. Great for all skill levels
Ive been into RC planes for over 30 years. I fly 3d Helis and the sort.
This little bird is really fun. My kids can fly it easily. It is so easy to fly in the beginner and intermediate mode. You can easily flip it over and fly inverted without changing your orientation.
In Evo mode (3D) it flies awesome. Loops, rolls, tick tocks. It does them quite well. Pretty fun and will challenge more advanced pilots.
Everyone in the family can fly this bird.
This bird is built tough. The frame is built super tough and the motor mounts are built to give, rather than break.
Downsides are the little BLUE LED lights are fragile. There are some youtube videos that show the fixes and it works, but you have to be really careful when fixing them. It requires some miniature soldering skills.
The rest of the LED lights seem to be tough. Only two of my Blue LED's ever failed and I was able to get them going again
Biggest down for me is I fly with an old DX7. The little bird doesn't have programing in the manual for the old DX7 and the programs for the DX6I and DX7S will not work.
I had to call Tech support and they emailed me the program for my radio. It was long and convoluted program but it works. The bird flies great now that its programed. I would not have been able to program the DX7 without the factory program. It's complex for a advanced programmer. But it only applies if you fly the old DX7.
This is probably not an issue for anyone else since I'm probably the last person on the planet still flying with a DX7.
The programming for all the modern Spektrum radios is included in the manual and should work perfectly right out of the box. Looks simple as well.
Overall, I've been having a blast flying this bird. I can do aerobatics in the livingroom. The whole family can fly it. It's quiet enough to fly with others on the phone or watching tv.
Outdoors its a blast. I can get super aggressive with it and it challenges me. When I crash it is my fault, which is fine, that's how I learn. Its tough enough to take the abuse.
Also a blast to fly in pitch black.

Been flying 35 years and this is the best! Easy enough for beginner/intermediate (not a first plane, learn to fly on a champ or something else unless you have a instructor) I have taught my wife, daughter, 2 sons , my brother and my dad how to fly with this plane and bought each of them there own plane after they could fly with confidence. Super tough and you can fly them Anywhere. A true bush plane!!! You can do all sorts of mods as well. Mine has relieved control surfaces and landing gear mods that allows it to do any aerobatic maneuver known to man and can still land and take off from insane places. Also is a excellent camera platform. My personal funcub is 5 years old has 100's of flights and flies in the most inhospitable places in weather that can be extreme. I've never had another rc plane that is as tough or versatile or flies as easy. If you can fly a simple basic rc plane with control, you can fly the funcub and learn to fly to new levels. If your experienced, get ready for a pure joy! Amazing plane!

Different sides of the stick have different tones as well as when it's on the pad Has a great sound that can be changed in many ways with creativity. Arrived very fast, well packaged and a better product than it was described. I love this thing!
