A fascinating and highly detailed history of the former East German airline
A fascinating, highly detailed and well-written history of the former East German state airline Interflug. Being a former flight attendant himself, the author Sebastian Schmitz is very knowledgeable and gives an insider's view. He also relates the airline's history to the political situation in the former German Democratic Republic (GDR). A highly recommended book for anyone interested in the development of aviation between the late 1940 and early 1990s and for students of GDR history.

Fascinating archive footage
The DVD is well produced and provides an excellent overview of public transport in both West and East Berlin during the period under review. The fascinating footage is very evocative of a bygone era. Highly recommended for anyone interested in this subject area.
