A good addition to a Radko Shiny Brite collection
This is a complimentary assortment of Radko Shiny Bright glass ornaments. They would make a great addition for someone who already owns multiple boxes of the Holiday Splendor Shiny Brites. The two reflectors are unique to this box, as are the icicles, and cannot be found in any of the other box collections. A general warning about Radko Shiny Brites is that not all of the decoration is hand painted and many of the applied designs are decals with glitter.

Alternative UK guitar music from the 1990s
A great compilation of alternative UK guitar music through the nineties from the era of "Brit Pop" without being too Brit Pop. Steve Lemacq digs a little deeper with this underground indie collection. There are some hard to find singles and bands on these disc, making it an incredible value as well.

Buy it used, if you can
If you are a Basil Rathbone fanatic, or if you [like me] have to see every "A Christmas Carol" ever made, this is worth the purchase. For starters, this is a low-volume release on a burnable DVD disc, which may not last over ten years. The 'remastering" of the TV kinescope tape is sandpaper-like throughout the presentation and the sound isn't great either. If you are a fan of old 1950's live TV, this won't bother you. Vic Damone as Young Scrooge and Patrice Munsel as Belle have a seemingly wearily endless opra during Christmas past. Robert Weede as Marley isn't much better. Then things get much better with Christmas Present and the Cratchit Family in the second act. The third act, Christmas Future, will either entertain you or make you want to turn the video off. It is a macabre ballet of black-garbed ghost who at the end of the dance seemingly crucify Scrooge. Then the final act has Rathbone's Scrooge visiting the Cratchits for dinner [not Nephew Fred's party], and Rathbone turns it on [finally] with singing and acting.
