Recommended at the price

Pleasantly surprised - they're bright and crisp and play well. Their crispness makes them easy to tune spot-on and they stay in tune quite well once they have been stretched a tad. If they stay at the price I paid (sub £4 all-in) then they'll do well. If the price goes up then they may struggle as the competition is fierce and plentiful. 'Recommended at the price' to quote a legend.

Unbeatable
Excellent quality shoes. I bought a pair of these around 20 years ago for £40 brand new. The most comfortable shoes ever, once worn in....could be a little slippy until the leather soles got roughed up a bit. Lost them during divorce, they ended up on a bonfire created by my ex along with quite a few other important bits and pieces but that's another story. Was never able to afford to replace them with a new pair but saw these recently so bought 2nd hand and they're just as comfy and practical as well as just a little bit cool.
