Raised around the jewelry business, I absolutely hated it. My father being one of the best industrial gemologists in the states, and I was always the free labor at every single trade show. Although I too was good with my hands, I never had the patience to sit behind the wheel for hours. Working at my Aunt's store in my 20's, I learned goldsmithing, and watchmaking. Least I was paid then.
In my 30's I discovered my love for watches late, upon restoring the ones I was given as a youngster. Mom always made sure I had a decent watch, as a gentleman should have a nice wristwatch on. I feel this is more important nowadays in the era of tech than in the decades before. Keep a quality watch clean, buffed, and serviced it will last a lifetime.

A Vintage Seiko that functions smoothly, obviously a cared for watch... Postage seemed very slow however it was a long journey. Looks like customs or someone has opened this package as the box was cut opened. The packaging was adequate, wrapped in paper and placed into bubble envelope and boxed. Thank you Bruce 🌟 😊
