The Nova documentary on Easter Island
This film is very information and speaks to many of the general questions asked, at first glance, about the evolution of the past culture living on Easter island.
It is another introductory look at Easter Island
The film spends primary time studying how the Moi were moved into position on the island, from the quarries where they were made.
However, it is not an "in depth" study, and should not be looked to for the most current findings with regard to Moi inscriptions, and excavations, the point by point evolution to the culture or the studies that go below ground, to the caverns or details of the quarries and the making of the Moi statues.
I recommend this dvd to all those who crave the mystery and who enjoy the interesting ways in which primitive people
did amazing things...without electricity or the help of the tools of the mechanized world
