Shockingly functional as an instrument mic given the pricepoint
This little unit, though made of cheap plastic and simple parts is shockingly functional. It does the job, and does it well. I am a professional jazz trumpet player and have been using it as a cheap alternative to my regular wireless clip-on mic for my horn, and though the quality is below what wireless mic rigs specifically designed for horn is (to be expected given such rigs are in the $300 - $500 range) -- in small club settings where EQ adjustments can be made at the board -- this little simple rig does an incredible job. For the price -- unbeatable.
