Great 2 minute modification!
Easy button way to add a properly sized, aluminum "tactical" knob without machining your bolt - which may weaken it if done improperly. Much better appearance than the plastic bolt-on and worth every penny. I have both smooth and knurled on 2 different REM 700's - they fit perfectly and function as designed allowing faster, surer control of the bolt action.

If you have a Rem 700 you should just do this.
Easily adds the tactile advantage of a cut/weld tactical knob - without all the gunsmithing drama. Way better than the plastic clamp on knob as far as appearance and function - definitely worth the extra $$. Solid product!
