Classics are better than new movies
This was a classic, and I enjoyed every minute. As a filmmaker and critic, I am very picky. But this was dark, compelling, and beautifully done. Of course, it doesn't hurt to have Paul Newman and Jackie Gleason together in a movie. I also just watched the Sequel - Color of Money - with Tom Cruz. It's not near as good.

Cinderella - Nice to see a Fairy Tale Sticking to the Original
I remember watching the Cinderella cartoon when I was a kid, and this version does a great job of doing it in real life. I appreciate the writer keeping with the original story unlike so many TV shows today that warp the good characters and make the bad ones seem good, like "Once Upon a Time" and "Smallville." I'm not a fan of either one of those tv shows for that reason. So I want to thank the writers and directors of this version for keeping it pure and telling the classic story of Cinderella. Very well done special effects as well. A rare great movie for kids!

One of the Best Movies Ever!
I grew up watching Neverending Story, but now will read the book. It should be an incredible experience as was the movie. Thanks Michael Ende for writing such a real captivating and life-changing story. This movie helped form who I am today. Everyone should see the movie and read the book.
