Mediocre product with questionable craftsmanship. The marble was nice, but the workmanship on the wood needs improvement and better quality control.
The marble inlay element was nice, but the wood platter was not round, the cut-out section was not round either, so the inlay didn't fit in there properly. I literally had to work with the wood (some removal fitting required) to get it to fit. The wood base would have been made better with a lathe, but it looked more like hand-made. This was a little disturbing, but I accepted the anomalies as-is and made it work to suite my needs.
In my case, I actually flipped the wood base over, shifted the rotator to the other side, and glued the marble platter on the flat side.

I've always experienced super performance with this brand; never had a failure! Enough said...
Repeat title...never had a failure...and I've purchased many such snakes of the last few years.

Still my favorite album to date...bar none!
Coming from the Pacific Northwest area of Washington, I was hooked on the grunge scene and any band coming from there. Once I heard the Empire album, I was immediately taken back to my grunge days...but with a scoring twist. I couldn't get over the guitar sound and lead singer voice - man, what a pair they turned out to be. I'm sorry the group has taken another turn more recently, but this album will forever remain one of my all-time favorites.
