Not best colors but very affordable 24mm 1.4

You can separate foreground from background, which is great. More expensive lenses will give you better colors, though. So while this gives you good depth of field and nice blurry background, the look of the picture is only going to get so good. You might do better with a used zeiss, nikon, canon, or pentax lens that will give you nicer colors and compose your shots with the background farther away. But if you want to save money and blur a background that is right behind your subject, shoot black and white, or don't really care if the colors are beautiful or kind of meh, this lens is a great deal. For black and white it gets 5 stars, though.

Good separation, but not great colors

T1.5/F1.4 is great for getting separation of subject and background. Lens is much less nice looking than Nikon or Canon. If you shoot black and white, it's great. Otherwise get a better used lens and put your subject way in front of your background. Maybe 1.4 isn't worth it unless you really, really need it, and great colors are the way to go. There are lots of great 2.8 lenses out there, and even some great 2.0.
