Hard to pick up!
Writer got this wrong in my opinion. Writing style was unusual but this detracted from reading the book. I found it cold and bland, the dialogue mundane and the story very ordinary for a dystopian novel. The frantic style of continuous text just left me empty.

Easy to fit and works perfectly
Does the job exactly as expected.

Good but not his best
Tom Sharpe's first novel is action packed but not quite as sharp as his later work. Good but he gets better!
