Too good to be true
Inhaling Jasmine this pure made me weak in the knees. I did a brief distillation test and this is definitely pure. The aroma is intoxicating. I've used it for diffusing, perfumes and laundry blends so far. It fills the whole house and lingers. This price is unbeatable for a 100% pure high demand oil. Highly recommend anything made my Grandma's Home.

Vivid, haunting and real
This book was no easy ride. I found myself cringing, flinching and constantly pausing for deep breaths throughout the vivid descriptions of abuse and self-harm. An author who dares to bring you to feel the experiences of their characters is one who deserves praise.
I don't believe in an author doing 'too much' when it comes to descriptions of traumatic experiences. It's insulting to want to expect a sanitized version of what real people endure in real life, all the time. Experiences like the ones created by Hopkins force one's eyes open and create a much need deeper empathy within us all.
I'd suspected the details of the plot twist all throughout the novel. Plot holes kept building around the "twins"' relationships and interactions with one another. My experience as a mental health professional may have had something to do with as well. Nevertheless, having always suspected the big reveal made the ending a bit anticlimactic for me, and is the only reason I gave it 4 stars.
I enjoyed the prose in poetry formatting because it helped the book fly by. Ellen's characterization techniques made it fairly easy to view each one with a neutral perspective despite their evil (or innocence and goodwill).
Rough book to read if one has a weak stomach or is easily triggered by content with sexual or drug abuse. Otherwise, a brilliant and informative story, especially for the youth, the mentally ill and those who seek to understand them.
