Books deserve better treatment
This has become one of the standard Art history texts for an introduction to the Hudson River School, and it is becoming harder and harder to find. So I was shocked to see it was mailed to me in a plastic bag wrapper with no padding. Obviously this book dealer had NO love for books as it arrived with all the corners mashed, and the partially shredded wrapper was no protection when it sat on my steps in the rain until I got home. I'm now trying to separate pages and restore it. If you want this book (and you should ) please ask how it will be packed! Or if you can't get assurances about shipping, then just wait until you find one in a store; it's probably safer than having one shipped.
