Getting a genuine Apple product at a discounted price.
When it comes to charge / power cords, Apple's quality tends to leave much to be desired. Apple charges high prices for their cords and they tend to break easily. When Apple recently passed the 1 Trillion dollar market valuation, many posters of Twitter showed photos of broken and frayed power cords for their iPhones and MacBooks, complaining, rightfully in my opinion, that Apple nickel-and-dimed its way to that high market cap. But, the foreign knock-off of Apple's cords are even worse in many cases; they have thinner gauge wiring, and sometimes inferior shells and plastic, so they, too, break easily - even sooner than the cords made by Apple. Some don't charge at all. So, that is why I reluctantly still buy genuine Apple cords. But to get them at a discount, I buy them here at eBay. I also buy reputable compatible brands like Belkin and other "Apple-certified" cables. Avoid the Chinese and Taiwanese knock-offs unless you want to replace them every few months; at least, that is what I was doing before I went back to buying the real ones made by Apple. Just get them at a discount here on eBay.
