A great performer, great price.
Tabac is one of the great performers of wet shaving. Really great cushion and glide from the lather. Scent wise it is my favourite, and quite strong. The scent seems to divide the wet shaving community, but I love it.

Great scent, works a treat.
As a pre and post shave this works really well. Proraso, in modern vernacular, is the bomb. Apply Balm after it has dried. I use it post shave instead of alum as it is a bit astringent. I love the scent.

Great! when you set the blade up correctly.
When set up correctly (nb) this razor gives me a really bbs shave. However the engineering tolerances are such that you can insert the blade a) at an angle or B) not equal on each side.
Howe er you can position the blade correctly, with care, and the shave is very effective.
It, then, is not an aggressive shave at all, hence 'Gentile'.
