A well researched book on Marilyn Monroe
I hadn't read a lot about Marilyn Monroe before getting this book. It goes into different aspects of her life - family, friends, movie productions, her three marriages. It also addressed her time with John and Robert Kennedy. The book is 475 pages long, but it is broken into short chapters, which I thought made it easier to read. The book has some lengthy appendixes after the main text - I have to admit I haven't read those completely. Overall, it seemed like a well researched biography.

Get Back - another look into the Beatles history
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich The Get Back movie is really an expanded look at the days when the Let It Be movie was filmed. The Director (Peter Jackson) went through 60 hours of film to present the weeks leading up to the Beatles last live appearance - on the rooftop of the Apple recording studio. It goes in depth about the events that occurred, and shows the Beatles playing a wide variety of songs. I would recommend it for fans that want to take another, previously unseen, look at the time when the Beatles were still together as a band.

An interesting collection of songs.
This is a collection of demo and studio recordings from the '70's band Grits. The songs mostly have vocals, with a couple of instrumental songs in the mix. I only saw the band live once, but these tracks are a good collection to keep for posterity.
