Usually you would be using two of these in a dj set up. Known the world over as the the go to turntable for Dj's for decades. It simply set the standard for turntables from its launch way back then. the heft of this is considerable and the design is a wonder on the eye. Its very reliable and will seldom let you down. parts are easy to get hold of too. If there are faults its the pop up light goes after a couple of years and the hydraulics fail & the pitch fader, all be it accurate, can jump from the point just before the quartz lock and just after. But thats not too difficult to deal with, you just speed up or slow down the other deck ever so slightly. I don't know of any other deck id use, but, there must be some good alternatives by now. so i can't say you shouldn't check them out. but i stick to my Technics 'cause i love em. keep spinning !

Nice unit

It’s nice to get a piece of kit that works nice and easy out of the box. It’s a bit like using a tape deck except you have to wait for the unit to read the bank CD-R first. The only thing you need to worry about is putting in blank audio cds.
