Noisy bearing vibration after just one day in use. Poor quality.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I bought this to replace the original Zotac fan on a GTX960 GPU which developed noisy bearinings after a couple of years.
After less than one day in use, the bearings in this replacement became just as noisy as the original.
Unlike the original, you can gain access to the bearing by removing the rear sticker.
The design is crude:-
The rear of the shaft is secured by a nylon split washer. Underneath are four small neoprene O ring spacers. The single bearing sleeve is at the front of the shaft and is only 3 or 4 mm long. It provides no support for the rear of the shaft. Consequently the rear is free to wobble around. I suspect this the cause of the vibration noise.
A smear of grease lubricates the bearing.
I have now ordered a different fan that uses a pair of ball bearings. This one will probably end up in the bin.

Insufficient Print Density using Epson dye based inks
I tried using this film with an Epson 1500W inkjet and Epson dye based inks.
Even when using the 'Heavyweight Matt' paper setting, the print denstity was insufficient to completely block light. The track edges look ragged when the film is backlit and viewed using a loupe.
The only way I could increase the density sufficiently was by feeding the film back into the printer and overprinting a second time. Unfortunately this often results in registration errors.
I don't know if pigment inks would give better results.
