Fun adventures for kiddos!
Although the first book in the series, we actually started with reading the second book - not knowing this was even a series. After our first reading (loving that book), and finding out this is a series, we knew we had to get the first book as well. Our boys (10 and 7) love to read on their own, but we also enjoy reading as a family as well. This is one of our 'family-reading' books. This was able to provide us with some good background for the series. We're about half-way through and t- he boys beg us to keep reading each time we read it. Full of fun and LOTS of action and adventure. There is some general (but not over-the-top) violence/guns - as you may expect - but nothing crazy and completely appropriate. Looking forward to continuing this book and purchasing some of the others in the series!
