Little bit tight
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Every thing went well on wiring it up. But it was a little tight to slide into place. In fact I got it stuck. After I got it back out I had to remove one of the back corner slots. Then it went right in I installed the two screws in the front and it was good and solid.

Yamaha xj kits could use more specific info on needle shims size and placement
I have installed the #1 kit on my 1982 xj650 Yamaha maxim.
It has 4 into 1 exhaust and stock air box with open air filter.
The throttle response is slow on the take off. I think I will trim the slide springs a little to see if it get off the start better.
It s 26 degrees now not the best weather for a long test ride.

Good buy for my xj650's restorations.
This gas cap does not leak like my old one. It was a good bargain better price to buy than having 2 keys made.
