For The Serious Matchbox 20 Fan!
Being a huge Matchbox 20 fan, I simply had to check this out...and I am so glad I did! Rob Thomas is at his best on this CD, the vocals are gritty, the lyrics poigniant and the instrumentals as good if not better than what I'd come to expect from Matchbox 20. I sense a Hootie and the Blowfish influence in several songs, Rob's voice taking on that smooth growl that Darius Rucker's does with Hootie. This CD doesn't have a lot of studio polishing, it's much grittier and more of a raw sound, a sound that really does justice to the talents that Rob possesses.
My only complaint about this CD is that it takes nearly 8 minutes for the hidden track, "Dizzy" to begin after track 12 is done. As "Dizzy" is probably the best track of all, it's frustrating to have to wait for it or to remember to skip forward to it when track 12 ends. But in the long run, even this doesn't deter me from highly recommending this CD to the Matchbox 20 lovers!

Such a funny book!
This book is hysterical! Irreverent, compelling, funny and thought provoking, this book covers all the bases. The parts that we DO know about Jesus's life, the author has kept as close to the Gospels as possible but when it comes to extrapolating on the rest of his life, he let the sky be the limit. And that's what makes this the perfect book for Christians who aren't too uptight to poke a bit of fun at themselves!
