Hot Wheels Legends Signatures Series compaired to Stock Car Miniatures
The Hot Wheels kit was made almost 20 years after the first 1/64 Scale US made Stock Car Miniatures die cast cars and haulers were first made. I do not see any originality with the Hot Wheels but the workmanship is superior to the Stock Car Miniatures. When considering the cost of dies made in the USA and the Hot Wheels that are made in China, the Hot Wheels dies cost pennies on the dollars to what it cost SCM to make the first 1/64 NASCAR die cast in the USA. Art work or graphics are very detailed on the Hot Wheels however no die cast made in China has come close to equaling the Stock Car Miniatures 1/64 S scale water slide decals. So on a scale from 1 to 10 with 10 being the highest, I give Hot Wheels a 10 with the die cast. Stock Car Miniatures I give a 8 considering their originality and not having other products to improve or work off of. Graphics I give Hot Wheels a 8 with their 4 or 5 colors and SCM a 10 with their 9 and more colors per die cast. The decals on the front fender of SCM die cast can be read clearly whereas those stamp printed directly on the die cast like the Hot Wheels can not be read clearly. Over all I rate the Stock Car Miniatures that are made in the USA superior to any made in China.

The decal paper does work, you need to apply a clear coat after printing.
