My lids work!
I got these mainly for my Starbucks-logo loving three year old son to drink water, ovaltine, etc. I was worried about the lids not fitting after reading some of the reviews. Maybe other buyers got defective lids, but I just put the cup on the counter top,my open palm on top of the lid on the cup and pressed down hard. The lid popped on tightly and very securely. I haven't had any trouble since I got them. Very happy with these. They appear to be really sturdy. Thanks!
