Not fit for purpose
The plug is a weird shape. It is impossible to insert the vertical plastic pin into the earth socket. There is an arrow pointing downwards under the plastic pin so I pressed the pin in the direction of the arrow and it snapped off. I was not bothered because the two horizontal pins are the functioning ones.
However, the horizontal pins are too close together to fit into a UK wall socket.
I had to give one star for the plug as there is no way to give zero.
I would have liked to return it to the supplier, but it would be classed as broken because the vertical pin has been taken off.

An very good buy.
The DVD player is well built and well designed.
The picture quality is excellent and it is priced at a competitive level.
