Dissappointed

I was very excited to receive this item since I had wanted a video camera for a long time. However, my excitement wore off very quickly when I discovered the item didn't work. At first I thought it was because I just didn't know how to use camcorders so I took it to Radio Shack and let them look at it. They discovered one of the pieces I received was wrong. They found the correct piece and plugged it in for me but couldn't get it to come on at that time. I bought the correct piece anyway since it was inexpensive. Still trying to give the camera the benefit ot the doubt, I took it to Best Buy. They played with it and played with it and finally they discovered that the problem is some type of short in the piece that connects the power cord to the camera. They got it to come on but had to hold the piece in a certain position to do so. Still not giving up, I took it to a camera shop in the hopes that maybe I could get it fixed so my money would not have been wasted. They looked at it for a while and came back and told me they could only get it to work for a short time and to fix it would cost more than what it is worth. So, I still don't have a video camera. I am very dissappointed!
