Toshiba Regza 52HL167 Fixed
A "Where Used" of this part is in the power supply boards of the Toshiba LCD TVs HL167 series. Also the heat sink compound that is packaged with this part is a must. In the Toshiba application, this part is used for the TV On/Off control and will dissipate heat when AC power is applied.
This part replaced the original part in my Toshiba LCD TV purchased in 2007. My first guess as to why the common failure of this part in the Toshiba application is a lack of heat sinking and not the design of the actual part itself.
Rather than try to improve the cooling of the part on the power supply board, I'll just order a spare in case I need it again about 9 years from now.

Great solution for using a keyboard with TV
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich The MU004U was very much as described in other reviews I read about Chomeboxes. It boots up fast, unlike our DVD player and works great with an Logitech K400 keyboard. No more fat fingering the single buttons of a DVD remote for YouTube or a Netflix search.
The only negative I have is the ON button is the corner of the M004U is like a touch screen and takes me couple of tries to turn it on. I haven't gotten the remote yet so this should move to the review mirror soon.
