Fascinating Talking Heads.
A typical example of the works of Alan Bennett. Entertaining and fascinating with first rate actors and actresses portraying the characters created by Bennett.

Operatic entertainment beyond expectation.
A superb and colourful production with good characterisation, well chosen soloists and an excellent chorus producing memorable musical sounds

A good night at the opera!
A production to appreciate, the set, the costumes, a high standard of singing by the principal roles especially Placido Domingo and such enthusiasm by the chorus. The orchestra under the baton of Antonio Pappano create a sound that is sublime upon the ear. Although it will never reproduce the atmosphere of the Opera House to be able to watch and listen at home is an absolute pleasure.
