Maybe new it might have worked better. Now it is just sitting there!
I bought this reconditioned but didn't get a chance to use it because we were packing to move to another home. After settling in, I finally got a chance to see how this unit worked. Was pleasantly surprised with the ease of operation and begin watching one of my old VHS tapes. As it got into it, it began to stall......it would stop and then start again. I shut it down and rewound and started over but it would not work anymore. I would have returned the unit but it was almost two months from the time of purchase and I didn't think I could return it.
