Turn- would you survive?
I have never been accused of being a history buff, but love to learn from movies. When I found out this drama is based off of correspondence Washington kept, so it is steeped in facts, I was intrigued! I can imagine (since watching Turn) what a struggle it must have been at that time to have to choose - loyalist or revolutionary; stay & fight or escape to more peaceful areas. And in choosing, & letting others know of that choice, you became your neighbor's mortal enemy! This show presents a side to the war that is rarely examined in the history books.

Back to childhood
Before there was "An Indian in the Cupboard" or "Honey I Shrunk..." anything - there was Land of the Giants. No, the science isn't right but it took my childhood imagination on a ride! Rewatching them makes me feel 8 again.
