Mine shouldn't have made it out quality control
My flashlight came to me defective. The light would power off when moving it around, and the batteries were rattling inside. By using a paper shim I was better able to secure the batteries which seems to have "fixed" the light from powering off. For $40 this is still a great deal but I don't think I can recommend for someone to buy this brand of flashlight when such an obvious defect was able to leave the factory. If you can find one for cheap, then go ahead and give it a shot, but I definitely wouldn't pay full price. Look to other brands if you need quality.
