not optimized for ubuntu/Linux use
2 von 3 finden das hilfreich I spent alot of time trying to make this product work with Ubuntu/Linux (on a Laptop). It does magnify the wifi signal on some wifi sources. But the Ubuntu/Linux software driver that works with this hardware is not stable enough. Even after a wifi connection is established, the communication dropped about 20% of the time after about 10 minutes. I would not recommend this product for use under Ubuntu--unless a new driver is available that works reliably with this product. I have not tested this product uder windows.
