Use your HDMI camera as a usb webcam!

I use the Magewell USB-HDMI capture device to bring in a Canon XC-15 as a usb camera to a MacBook Pro usb-c (you will need a usb-c to standard usb adapter if your computer only has usb-c). This camera will not work with video conferencing apps like Zoom or Hangouts with standard capture cards. The Magewell was easy plug n play and presented the camera as a standard webcam to the software and the picture and build quality is excellent. No technical skills necessary to install and use. The case will get warm to the touch when using. Your camera should have a 'clean' hdmi output so your viewers don't see onscreen display information.
