Can't find a fault.
Simply put, it works.
It's cheaper than Nikon by far and buying one used is almost useless since nearly any you find will be 3 or 4 on the life cycle ( meaning ready to die ).
I had heard some reviews say that you will not be able to read this battery for life cycle by the camera, but in my D3 it shows as a Zero meaning brand new.

It's a Think Tank... really not much more needs to be said.
It's simply the best there is on the market.
If you need one, then you can understand why others pale in comparison.
Just rest assured that it holds true to the Think Tank standards.

Fantastic all around lens
4 von 4 finden das hilfreich I'll start this by clarifying that there are better lenses out there, but in order to beat this one for it's convenience, durability and all around performance you will have to open up your wallet. The only lens I would take over this one is the Nikkor 28-70 f 2.8... but I simply can't afford that one.
This is possibly the best single lenses that can be had for under $300. It's compact, sturdy, easy to use and unlike the new cheaper lenses it still has the aperature ring which allows you to use it on older bodies.
It's extremely wide focal range ( around 5x ) allows you to use it for 90% situations you may encounter. Is it the sharpest lens around? No. But again, we aren't talking about dropping over $1000. for the best.
I highly recommend this lens as the first one you should have when you enter into SLR shooting. It's built like a tank, will make all but the most critical shooters happy with it's images and is economical enough to make nearly anyone happy.
I can find no faults with this lens.
