Solid performer at a good price.

This transformer is more than adequate for powering a small O Gauge train. Smooth controller and simple power block design should ensure reliable operation for a long time. Just be aware that this device does not come with a fixed voltage accessory post so you will have to connect turnouts to track power. If it had this feature, I would give it a five star rating.a

Good runner with average sound and no directional lighting

Pluses: This locomotive looks good and runs very smoothly in both directions. Decent horn and bell and cab chatter when idling. Minuses: Locomotive sound not very realistic and a little scratchy. Also, no directional lighting.
