For the hard core Jimi fan only. There are better ways to spend your money.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Just be sure that when you buy this you realize you are doing so to get a few great songs on CD that can't be found elsewhere. They've managed to ruin a perfectly good record album by adding "Bonus Tracks". I'm pretty sure you know what I mean. RIP, Jimi.

Guitar Slinger by Johnny Winter
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich If you are a Johnny Winter fan,don't hesitate to get this one.I've had the album forever,so getting it on cd was a no-brainer.Johnny is the real deal,and has remained true to his roots after all these years.The very first record I ever bought was Johnny Winter And (LIVE) and that was in 1973.He had a great band then,but this line-up features some all-time greats! Amazing effort by all involved. It's also an honor to support Alligator records! You da man,Bruce Iglauer!

You won't regret it,I have repurchased this cd twice now after turning friends on with a simple gift of what has turned out to be one of my favorite albums! A powerhouse group if there ever was one.If you ever saw them live you would know the power of this band.Pretty sure this was their debut album,can tell you the album "Midnight Drive" is also EXCELLENT.
