It is a very sharp lens at its price range. Little slow compare to Nikon lens, no effect to travellers.

18-140 is a champ.

I use it to replace my 18-104 on my new D3300, the sharpness is amazing when taking landscape at F8. I think even my Sigma 18-250 will be in my cabinet collecting dust from now on. Besides, I also have difficulty in getting rid of my 18-105.
